The Jubilee Club was formed in 1977 for the over-60s.
The Jubilee Club enjoys having a relaxed meeting every 2nd Wednesday in the month at 2pm in the church. Tea/coffee/biscuits/raffle and a warm welcome for everyone! The Guest speakers who attend every other month are interesting and we are always learning something new! The club also runs coach outings every 2 months between March and December. The trips are usually on the 4th Wednesday in the month.
Our coach trips are extremely popular. We generally have a meal included in the price. Pick up is in the village or in Etwall – usually mid morning, and back late afternoon. We use Harpurs coaches and they do a sterling job. For information regarding our coach outings and further information on joining the club contact Shirley Rogers 732326.
NB You don’t have to be a member to join us on our coach outings – however, if you do join (£10.00 per year), you get a £5 reduction in the price of EACH outing.
