Church Donations

Giving To St Wilfrid’s, Egginton

It costs £43,000 a year ( approximately £800 per week) to operate the Church and to provide services to the community.
All of it has to be raised locally, a huge challenge that relies on the generosity of many people. There is no funding from the state or diocese.

Your donation will help maintain the Church building and grounds and sustain its work, keeping the doors open to all.

Regular giving is an important way to give thanks to God for all his blessings. Or you might wish to make an occasional donation, marking a particular moment in your life, leaving a legacy, or offering part of a gift you yourself have received. Your generous giving enables us to keep our Church open and supporting this community.

Everyone and their gifts are valued by the Church – however large or small. If you would like to make a donation, there are several ways you can do this:

The Parish Giving Scheme (‘PGS’) is a safe, confidential and easy way to make a regular donation AND eases the burden of administration on the Treasurer and Church Volunteers. You can also choose to increase your gift each year by the increase in the cost of living.

You can change this commitment at any time by using your personal log-in on the PGS website, or simply by calling the PGS team.

To set up your regular giving, there are several options:

A. Use the following QR Code for the Parish Giving Scheme

B. Go Online www.parishgiving.org.uk/donors/find-your-parish/egginton-st-wilfrid-egginton/

D. By Phone – Call 0333 002 1271 (Mon to Fri 9am – 5pm) and PGS will complete your Direct Debit instruction for you, and send you a confirmation by post or email.

We know it isn’t the easiest thing to think about, but leaving a gift in your Will is a very special thing to do.

A Legacy is a wonderful way to show your lasting support for St Wilfrid’s and to help secure the financial stability of the Church in the years ahead. A gift, however small, is greatly appreciated and will help to support a very special place.

We recommend you seek professional advice on Will writing and leaving a legacy.
