This is a community website developed for the benefit of local residents (and hopefully will be of interest to non-residents as well).
Egginton is a small rural village in South Derbyshire situated in the Trent valley, between Derby and Burton-on-Trent, and about half a mile from the A38 trunk road. Historically it is a farming community and now is largely a commuter village with a population of about 650.

St Wilfrid’s Church, the warm, welcoming heart of the village.
Memorial Hall, the village hall owned by a Charitable Company for the village
Primary School, situated within the Memorial Hall premises.
